I’m Michael Shewangzaw, a filmmaker and content creator with a degree in Film & TV Production from the University of Gondar. I’ve directed several short films, shaping my storytelling and visual style.

My journey spans social media strategy for several clients and live event coverage as a photographer and filmmaker. Currently, I work at Spotlight Ethiopia, creating and directing digital content across campaigns, social media, and branded visuals.

One of my biggest goals is to build my own film production company, called UNAGI PRODUCTION. This will be more than just a brand — it’s a creative powerhouse built on passion, originality, and fearless storytelling.

UNAGI aims to challenge the current standards of the Ethiopian film industry by focusing on high-quality visuals and fresh narratives.
